Healthy Green Tea Smoothie Recipe

Today we are going to show you a nifty and healthy recipe for making a delicious green tea smoothie. In fact, I made a batch the other day and I assure you it was the best tasting green tea smoothie I have every had. The main ingredients I used are spinach, green grapes, bananas, and green tea. I like to serve it in chilled shot glasses, but feel free to fill up a big cup as it will go down nice and smooth, pun intended.

The key to making the green tea smoothie delicious is using fruits instead of veggies, sure there is spinach in there, but the banana and green grapes definitely take over the flavour. This green tea smoothie tastes fruity and refreshing and will provide you with a nice energy boost at any time of the day, but I prefer to take it during breakfast hours as it does a pretty good job waking me up.

Below are the ingredients for the green tea smoothie, just throw them all in a blender and mix them up and you’ll have a perfect smoothie ready to serve!

  • 1 1/2 cups green grapes
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen/fresh banana slices
  • 1 cup matcha green tea (you can use decaf if you want)

  • 2-3 ice cubes
