Delicious Oven Baked Pumpkin Fries

Surprisingly these oven baked pumpkin fries turned out great! If you are into the pumpkin taste they actually taste really delicious, and not to mention crispy! Talk about a great side dish to serve with your fall themed meals!

Ingredients:

  • One small and sweet sugar pumpkin
  • Approximately 3 tbsp of canola oil
  • Table salt
  • A large zip-lock bag
  • and if you’d like some cinnamon/sugar for added sprinkle flavour

Preparation:

Peel the pumpkin and slice into fries, any size of your choosing.
Put all the cut fries into a large zip-lock bag and pour in the canola oil, shake the bag around.
Lay all the fries onto a baking sheet covered pan and add an adequate sprinkle of salt.
Bake the pumpkin fries at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes turning them after 15 minutes.
When they’re done, add a little more salt if you wish. Alternatively, you can add some cinnamon or sugar.
Plate fries and enjoy the sweet, crispy oven baked pumpkin!
