Hi mates, another article on our journey. Few words about nutrition and a bit more about ‘’let`s found out who we are’’

First of all we have to separate food to its main macronutrients – Protein, Carbohydrate, and Fat. Remember that nutrition is a science and you cannot expect it to be learned easily or quickly. You have to build your own new and healthy consistent eating habits and knowledge about this essential science.

You have to know that there are three major body types and of course combinations of them. As you apply one kind of diet/training each type reacts differently. We will not delve into this topic. There are subtleties in the personal approach to each type, but the topic is very extensive and will not be covered it on this journey, we’ll just stick to the basics. (For example there are rarely individuals who are only ectomorphic or mesomorphic, more often people are combinations of those three main types.)

bodytypes

>The term ectomorph refers to a body type (somatotype) characterized by a light build, slight muscular development and little body fat. An example of an ectomorphic person in the sports would be a typical long distance runner or basketball player. Generally, ectomorphs rank high on endurance, flexibility and agility.

>The term mesomorph refers to a body type (somatotype) characterized as being well muscled; some references describe it as being with wide shoulders, long arms and a narrow waist. An example of a mesomorphic person in sports would be a typical weightlifter, shot putter or sprinter. Generally, mesomorphs rank high on strength, speed, endurance, power and agility.
